We were thoroughly satisfied with the friendly, professional and flexible service conveyed by Keystone, especially in light of highly difficult and baffling circumstances surrounding our initial DA being denied by council and plans needing to be changed at the last minute. From the planning stages through to construction and finishing, the level of communication from the office throughout the duration of our works was excellent, while all employees of varying trades conducted themselves with high degrees of professionalism, competence and workmanship. We heartily recommend Keystone for any renovation/extension job. We were so impressed with Keystone's professionalism throughout the process of considering adding a first floor renovation to our home, and felt that James was incredibly supportive and understanding of our financial situation, working all renovations towards our set budget. Taking on a major renovation during the recent pandemic is not for the faint hearted especially when the building is a cottage built in 1890. Keystone were the right people to partner with as we worked through the challenges together and at every turn we were communicate with openly and honestly. Keystone took pride in their work and accountability for sub-contractors. Any issues that arose were dealt with without question or argument. I wish Keystone well and will be back for future projects.

They know what they do. Very strong civil engineering knowledge. Steve and Ralph are awesome to work with. James - very patient with us from the beginning. Don’t mind working with James again . The team managed by Aaron was precise on work and timeline. The only request would be to It include more choices in terms of product selection. We will be finishing our project soon with final schedule and the only feedback from anyone who visits is good job by the builder .

This was the second time we had used Keystone, loving our new family home. It has now been 12 months since our 1st floor addition has been completed. We have only had to contact Keystone twice in this time for a few small issues. I was extremely happy with Keystone's After Sales, very efficient. It has always been a pleasure dealing with the staff.

Keystone partnered with us to build our dream home during 2020. We could not be happier with the level of service and quality of work that the team put into our renovation. We heard the usual negative stories from friends and families about their renovation experiences but we had none of that with Keystone, the process was efficient, professional and collaborative. An amazing experience with Keystone from start to finish. During the pre-sales period, they were always on hand to answer any question (and I had hundreds). They really took ownership and accountability for seeing the process through design and approvals. When building began, we had an excellent site manager (Brandon) who was always on top of things, and was able to provide some exceptional advice on things we did not think about earlier. Upon completion, the team at Keystone did everything they could to keep us happy. They resolved any issues quickly, and a few months in, came back to rectify some small defects. The end to end process for us as owners was very smooth. Keystone are a no nonsense high quality builder, they are honest, diligent, and do the right thing (sometimes this would be at their own cost as well). We are very happy with our build and the quality of it. We have heard of so many horror stories and we were certain we would get stung somewhere, but surprisingly we didn't. This is a testament to Keystone and the team, their level of service and values. Would recommend them again in a heartbeat.

We engaged Keystone in 2021 after reading positive reviews on Facebook from another inner-west resident. We never looked back. Our project was quite major - ie the gutting of part of an inner city house and the construction of a new kitchen/dining, two bathrooms, two bedrooms with new roof with gabled ceilings. Keystone deserves to be proud of its culture and values from top to bottom. Everyone in their team is lovely, professional, responsive and ethical. Particular thanks go to Brandon, our builder, and Corinne in the office. Though there were several others with whom we happily dealt with too. We're very happy with the end result. Before choosing a team to build with, we underwent the process of meeting with several companies to discuss the hopes we have for our family home. We have never renovated before, so establishing a partnership with a business that could not only guide us through this process, but also lead us was really important. From word go we were highly impressed with Keystone, so out of the many that we met with, it was an easy choice. Not only were they friendly, responsive and punctual, but they were also extremely knowledgeable. It was really refreshing to feel like they cared enough to ask us the important questions about our family life in order design a second storey addition that is practical and suits our needs. Given that they are a family-owned business, and the workers are all clearly family orientated, this wasn't surprising. One of the workers literally entertained our children so we could have the freedom to make decisions without distraction. The kids STILL ask after her! We are about 3 months into our build, and I must say that this experience has far and beyond exceeded all of our expectations, especially given that we are a family of 6 with young children and are living on site. Keystone take the reins from start to finish and organise everything from design (connecting you to trusted architects, highly professional bathroom specialists, paint and flooring design specialists etc), to a very efficient (incredibly fast), smooth sailing build. As an extremely busy family this has been a godsend, and we are so grateful that what could have been a long, overwhelming experience has been so simple and actually enjoyable. Huge thank you to all of the team at Keystone! We have just completed our second storey addition to the home which included 3 new bedrooms (master with walk-in robe), a bathroom and ensuite and a new living area upstairs and we are loving everything about it. We now have so much extra space and comfort for the whole family. The whole process was very well managed and efficient by each member of the team and all work was completed professionally and with no long delays at all. From start to finish, Keystone were fantastic to deal with. Every detail was thought of, and everyone we dealt with were so friendly and professional. Every question was answered happily, and no request was ever too much. As an absolute newbie at renovating, everything was explained to me at a level that I could completely understand. The office staff were amazing and the onsite builders and contractors were all friendly and professional. I miss the builders singing along to their radio 😊 It shows how happy they were to work for the business though, and was just another thing I appreciated during the whole process. My family lived in the ground floor while the top was being built, and every detail was taken care of to ensure we were kept in as clean and dust-free environment as possible during the process. The cleanup at the end was impeccable. My family and I highly recommend Keystone.

Keystone were absolutely amazing for our recent extension. We were really nervous to start a major renovation / extension with 2 young kids, but they were fantastic throughout the process. From the initial meet with James, we could tell Keystone was different and really wanted to understand our requirements. We had a hiccup along the way with approvals (outside of keystones control), but Rebecca was brilliant throughout it all and kept me calm. Emma was so patient with selections and made the process so easy despite my indecisiveness. Brandon our site supervisor was so respectful of our space and made sure our family was comfortable throughout the build. He went above and beyond, and nothing was too hard for him. e were introduced to Keystone by our neighbour, who went up with them. We initially wanted to add a second storey but due to our budget, we decided to do renovations instead. We got new flooring and had our bathroom, powder room, laundry and one of our bedrooms renovated. James was very accomodating and helpful with his design suggestions. He made an effort to rework the draft multiple times until we were happy with the plan. Emma was very patient with us while going through the selections and offered valuable design advices. Aaron was easy to talk to and answered all our questions throughout the whole renovation process. He also went out of his way and helped us fix exisiting issues in our roof. The renovation was completed within the given time frame and stuck to our budget. Keystone also cleaned up the place nicely once everything was done. The only improvement we would've liked is to receive more updates regarding the renovations throughout the process, as we had to follow up each time. Overall, our experience with Keystone was positive and we're happy with the final work. We would recommend Keystone to others.

Brandon, James and the team at Keystone have been incredible before, during and at the conclusion of our build. The process was incredibly straight-forward from start to finish and nothing was ever an issue. We added a second storey with 3 bedrooms, study, bathroom, living area and walk in wardrobe, in addition to having alterations made to our ground floor. We lived in the house while the second storey was being built and it was not a drama, even with a newborn. We are super thrilled with outcome, best decision ever and still can't believe that we have the house that we have. Keystone's attention to detail, thorough communication and quality workmanship was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Keystone to anyone thinking of renovating or extending their home.

I was reluctant to second-storey addition at first because I had experience constructing a new home and a few renovation experiences in the past but unfortunately, my experiences were far from satisfactory. Various issues arose during the process, and it was challenging to contact the builder to address them. Additionally, the builders seemed unconcerned with the problems I pointed out, merely focused on completing the job on their convenient timeline, receiving payment, and leaving. As a newlywed couple, we moved into our house but as our family grew, we needed more space. We considered moving but the location was convenient for all of us, and we loved the place. Therefore, we made the big decision to build a second-storey on top of our existing house. In late 2022, we began the process of gathering quotes from various builders who specialize in second-storey additions. However, we encountered difficulty since we were only given rough estimates of the cost. Furthermore, all the builders required payment to create a detailed plan to determine the exact price. If we were unsatisfied with their proposal, we would be forced to walk away without receiving the drawn-up plan for which we had already paid. However, Keystone worked very differently. Keystone first inquired about our requirements and then proposed to create a preliminary design that would complement our current house to provide us with an understanding. This was ideal because we were able to visualize the end product, make modifications as per our preferences, and received an accurate cost estimate allowing us to plan and establish a budget. As a result, we added 3 bedrooms, an ensuite & WIR to the main bedroom, a main bathroom, a small living area, and a study nook. We decided to proceed with Keystone due to their trustworthiness. James, who provided the initial quotation, impressed us with his professionalism and comprehensive explanation of the process. He also suggested affordable alternatives and incorporated our preferences into the design layout. He made us feel like he was working for us not just the company. We loved the layout of his design which worked well with our existing house. We requested an additional dressing table area and a study nook, and he thoughtfully incorporated them into the design layout. Floris, who assisted with pricing, was reliable, attentive, and provided comprehensive explanations. Working with him was significantly easier and less confusing. Brandon, the expert construction supervisor, managed the entire process with ease, promptly resolving any issues. Ralph, the owner of Keystone, even made a personal visit to confirm window sizes, demonstrating attention to detail. Everyone else in the office and on-site was friendly and polite. Construction began in mid-August 2022 and was completed in February 2023. While living on-site during construction was challenging, it saved us money by avoiding moving costs and rental expenses. We are extremely pleased with Keystone's use of high-quality products and skilled workmanship. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a home extension or renovation. If given another opportunity in the future, we would certainly choose Keystone again without hesitation.

I never thought I’d be the person to do a build.. I have watched multiple friends and family during their builds and the sheer amount of stress that is put on you and your family was an easy decision for me and my family to never go through with one. We just finished a build with Keystone. To say it was a calming, positive and enjoyable experience is an understatement. And now we get to live in this little piece of paradise. We had such an amazing team (Aaron, Kane, Marley, Mason & Chris ) All the trades that we worked with were second to none. Emma was also pretty amazing to deal with. If there was ever an issue, it always got fixed with little to no fuss. My honest opinion is that I mentioned I’d never do a build, but I’ve now got the itch to do it again and I wouldn’t choose anyone else.
