This project involved a remarkable transformation, turning an older home into a charming Hamptons-style cottage with a fresh, modern feel. The extension added two standard bedrooms with fitted-out sliding robes, a study, a living room, a bathroom, and a large stair void, creating a more spacious and functional home. Hybrid vinyl flooring was installed throughout, enhancing both durability and style.

Renovations to the existing home included the creation of a new open-plan living and dining area, improving the flow and usability of the space. A new timber deck was added, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living. The existing bedroom now features a new ensuite, while a brand-new laundry and upgraded shower/WC improved functionality. The home’s exterior also received significant upgrades, with new steps to the front veranda, repainted brickwork, and new Colorbond roof coverings.

Further enhancing the home’s street appeal and practicality, a new brick front fence, carport roof, and garage roller door were installed. The replacement of external cladding and all internal doors, along with new flooring on the ground level, brought cohesion to the refreshed design.
